Getting Here Is Part Of The Adventure!
There are loads of options to get here- and here are a few bits of local knowledge to assist you on your journey:
By Car, Campervan or Motorbike-
The roads to and from Eulo are excellent and suitable for cars, vans and bikes. Conditions do change particularly during rain- the Paroo Council has a website that details these conditions- by all means call us on 07 4655 4867 if you need any detailed local advice, or better yet drop in.
We are about 67km west of Cunnamulla or 130km east of Thargomindah on the Bulloo Development Road (A49) - Signposted 'The Adventure Way'.
Watch for wandering stock on the roads- slow down and pull over for Road Trains, and stop regularly to rest and revive, knowing that at the end of your journey you will get a warm welcome and a cold beer at our fantastic pub!
By Air-
Nearest Scheduled Air Service is to Cunnamulla- Regional Express service the airport from Brisbane and stops in between- see Rex Airlines for bookings. We can come and get you from the flight- just call us on 07 4655 4867 (fees apply).
Alternatively, charter an aircraft, or bring your own and a group and fly into our fantastic town airstrip- YEUO.
Check the ERSA for accurate details - some information on the strip can be found on the following website and other similar ones- Eulo Airport | YEUO | Pilot info | Cunnamulla, Australia.
For up to date conditions contact the Publican- Adam on 0417 544 339 .
Adam is an active pilot with a CPL and is always happy to assist.
Its an easy walk from the strip to the pub but we are happy to come and pick you and your luggage up if you prefer.
We are working towards an Air Operator Certificate and aim to offer charter and tour services in early 2026- by all means call us if you have any questions on aviation in this part of the country!
Bus-
Cunnamulla is regularly served by bus from Brisbane. Go to the Murrays Coaches website for details. We are happy to pick you up from the bus - call us on 07 4655 4867 (fees apply).
Lots of cool bus tour companies offer stops in Eulo as part of their itineraries. Some include Blue Bus Tours , Trade Travel and Expanding Horizons . We love having these groups here and take the time to explain the special history of the 'Queen' and how people live and work in our region- and of course serve them fantastic lunches and generous morning teas!
